Job Description:
35% Assembles historical academic documents for use by internal and external auditors.
Compiles report detailing changes which were made to student's grades and the reasons for the change.
Assists in the graduation process by putting final grades, hours earned, and GPA's on degree audits.
Records final grades of all students on degree audits, including number of hours attempted and GPA's. Verifies whether the student meets graduation requirements.
Monitors and enforces compliance with Federal, State. and University policies.
Receives.
40% Receives. controls, and maintains confidential student records which includes the scanning documentation.
Posts bankruptcy notes. change of major, grade changes. selective service information, change of address. phone number change, name changes, and resignations into the student information system. Update. maintain, and validate student academic records to ensure accuracy and compliance with LSUE policies and procedures. Maintains office electronic forms, including updating as necessary, back-end support, and processing student record requests.
Reviews student records on a regular basis and works with school and college personnel in support of student success. Records transfer credit accepted and degree requirements equivalency on transcripts.
25% Greets students, faculty, and staff and assists with clerical duties such as answering phones, reviewing the Registrar, Admission, and Student Records email accounts, and assisting with the daily traffic flow of the office.
Responds to student requests, researching and resolving problems, complaints, and inquiries.
Assists in the process of coding applicants who did not attend.
Additional duties as needed.
Salary Range: $28,000.00-$32,000.00
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma and 2 years experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree with 3-5 years of experience.
