What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive sales revenue to meet and exceed assigned sales targets
- Develop and maintain an opportunity pipeline of at least three times the assigned sales target
- Build and grow the employers existing Commercial (State/Local) strategies
- Investigate new opportunities and identify sales prospects due to market changes
- Present at conferences and participate in industry events to support business objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience required
- 5-7 years of proven sales success
- Knowledge of the security industry is a plus
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time within assigned territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proven track record of winning new business
- Demonstrable prospecting skills
- Experience managing complicated bid/procurement requests
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Suite
- Ability to work independently with little direction
